CYCLE 4 SEWA
In 2012, My family and I set up an annual charity cycling event to raise money for SEWA UK. Sewa UK is a charity that helps give people relief and rehabilitation following a disaster. It supports and promotes projects that cater for People with Disabilities. It also helps people in India with better healthcare, women empowerment and education.
The event has become one of the most anticipated Sewa UK events of the year. It brings together people of all ages from across the UK to enjoy a day of cycling whilst participating in the act of Sewa (Selfless Service).
10 years on, we have raised over £120,000 and seeing the difference it has made to people brings a smile to my face.
